Fulton Science Academy Atherton (the “School”) is operated by Atherton International School Global. The School complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea (“PIPA”) and other applicable laws and regulations and processes personal information lawfully and securely in connection with admissions inquiries and school operations.
The School processes personal information for the following purposes and destroys the information without undue delay when the applicable retention period expires or the relevant purpose has been fulfilled.

Personal information for school news and newsletters is processed only with optional consent. Declining to receive such communications will not affect registration for or attendance at an information session.
Where applicable laws or regulations require personal information to be retained for a specific period, the relevant information may be retained for the period required by law.
The School processes personal information within the scope of the purposes for which it was collected and does not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual.
This does not apply where disclosure is required or otherwise permitted under applicable laws and regulations.

The School uses services provided by Blackbaud, Inc. to receive and manage admissions inquiries and pre-application information. In connection with these services, personal information may be processed or stored outside the Republic of Korea.
Details regarding the destination country, categories of personal information transferred, purpose of transfer, and retention period will be updated in this Privacy Policy as necessary in accordance with the School’s service arrangements and applicable laws.
The School destroys personal information without undue delay when the applicable retention period expires or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled and the information is no longer required.
Personal information stored electronically will be deleted using methods designed to prevent recovery or restoration. Personal information recorded on paper will be securely shredded or otherwise destroyed.
Where personal information is required to be retained under applicable laws or regulations, it will be stored separately from other personal information and destroyed after the applicable retention period has expired.
Individuals may request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information, and may withdraw consent where applicable.
Where the consent of a legal representative is required under applicable law for the processing of personal information relating to a child under the age of 14, the School will obtain the required consent. The legal representative may exercise the relevant rights on behalf of the child.
